I will continue with online yoga classes for the Spring 2021 Session. It seems (to me) to be the best option. Online offers some advantages and keeps everyone safe until most are vaccinated. I hope some students who haven’t been online yet will give online yoga a try. “I enjoy online yoga. It mostly felt like being in class plus I could see what you were doing easier, and I didn’t have to go out for yoga in bad weather or if I had the sniffles.” JS I will teach 9 weeks of Spring online Zoom Classes. Classes begin April 14 and 15 – visit the CLASSES page for the more details. The early bird deadline is April 2. I will continue with the “Yoga and Meditation” class. With so much transitioning in our world, this is a great time to add the support of meditation into your pose practice. Doing yoga poses to prepare for meditation is traditional yoga. This class is Online for 1 hour and 45 minutes and offers a beginning Shavasana (relaxation), Ujjayi breathing, core opening poses, a short teaching and meditation with instructions. This combination gives an easy entry to a quiet mind and your Blissful Self. You are welcome if you are new to meditation, a seasoned meditator or in between. For those who prefer a full yoga asana class, both the Wednesday morning and Thursday evening are excellent options and accommodate deeper students. I am grateful for returning students – you are the backbone of my yoga business – so I offer an early bird discount if you register by Friday April 2nd. If you have not worked with Zoom before I will run a short practice session with you – just let me know who you are. I can accommodate substituting classes between Wednesday and Thursday. I have some props for sale to support your home and online practice. I have a new shipment of blankets (40.00 each) (Picture Attached), lunge blocks (25.00 / pair), knee pads (10.00) and some CD’s to lead you through practices (prices vary). Let me know if interested. I will continue to offer a new Svaroopa® yoga Therapeutic pose in each class. I am happy to answer questions.
