Svaroopa® Yoga in Calgary: Tap Into Your Inner Bliss
I’m Rosemary Nogue (Rudrani), a Certified Svaroopa® Yoga Teacher (CSYT), Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance (E-RYT700), Meditation Teacher, Group Meditation Leader and permanently certified (1,000 hours) through the Yoga Association of Alberta (YAA). I have also been honored with the title Yogaratna by the Svaroopa® Vidya Ashram.
Svaroopa® (sva-rupa) is a Sanskrit word that means the "bliss of your own being" which is why I call my yoga business Bliss Yoga. In Svaroopa® yoga you sequence releasing your spine from the tailbone to the top. You don’t push to make the pose happen. It is deceptively easy and simple. You prop and align and then allow the changes to develop. All levels of your being begin to open up simultaneously when you decompress your spine - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual - giving you access to your own deeper essence named “Svaroopa” in the yoga texts.
